Dylan grew up in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, where he developed a deep love for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed fishing and hunting deer and wild turkey with his father. He graduated from Freedom Area High School in 2003, where he played basketball and was known for his athleticism, dedication, and team spirit.
Determined to serve his country, he enlisted in the U.S. Army at 17 with his father’s signed consent. He completed basic training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, and was assigned to the 3rd Brigade Troops Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, at Fort Benning, Georgia. In January 2005, his unit deployed to Diyala Province, Iraq. On November 16, 2005, he lost his life in an unfortunate incident.
His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family, friends, and fellow soldiers.
