Legacies Alive understands the sacrifices made by our loved ones and their mission to honor and remember our fallen deeply touches my heart. They have gone above and beyond to honor and never forget our warriors. They are here for us anytime we need them. It has been a blessing to partner with them to continue to let our Gold Star families know that they are not alone.
Legacies Alive is more than an organization that connects Gold Star families together. It is veterans connecting us and connecting with us, men who have led and served alongside our fallen, have experienced their own loss, and are dedicated to honoring those who have fallen.
Meeting John Dudo and the team from Legacies Alive has opened up a whole new line of friendship for our family. Legacies Alive has provided us the road map and resources to build a memorial for our beloved Dylan. They have also served our needs and provided us with motivation as Ben Linkous rucked 26.2 miles for our Dylan whom he never even knew.
Legacies Alive changed my life. We are a family. It’s so comforting to know that we can talk and share stories in a safe space, without judgement or expectation. I had never had that before. We can also get together and have the best time, celebrating the life of our lost loved ones by building new relationships and supporting one another.
