Sam was born in Guatemala and later moved to New Brighton, Pennsylvania, where he grew up. He graduated from New Brighton High School in 2013, where he showed strong leadership and a commitment to service. Sam enjoyed the outdoors—camping, fishing, and working out. He also had a keen interest in real estate and spent time studying the industry and exploring investment opportunities.
After graduation, Sam enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. He served as a logistics specialist second class, managing supply and logistics to keep his unit mission-ready. He deployed twice aboard the USS Ramage, where his dedication and teamwork earned the respect of his peers.
Sam passed away on August 17, 2018, in Norfolk. He is remembered for his professionalism, his care for others, and the integrity with which he served. His legacy lives on in the lives of those who knew and served with him.
